Fring: www.fring.com

If your mobile is WiFi enabled but does not have a sip client built it, you can download Fring at www.fring.com

Fring is a free mobile VoIP software, allows you to talk & IM via your mobile’s internet connection to other mobile phones and PC-based services with SIP providers such as Voiceall, as well as Skype, MSN Messenger, ICQ, Google Talk at no extra cost.

To configure Fring on your mobile please download the relevant user guide document at http://www.fring.com/support/user_guide and follow the instructions under section “ADD A SIP SERVICE”

How do I configure my WiFi Mobile?

Firstly, ensure there is a built-in SIP client in your mobile. If you own a latest make, most likely are the chances that your mobile has a SIP client built-in. If you in any case do not have a SIP client built-in or your existing SIP client has been blocked by your network provider, you can use Fring (recommended by Voiceall) or any other SIP client suitable for the make and model of your mobile.

Alternatively, you can also use a WiFi IP Phone. We recommend using Linksys, Siemens & Snom

Which ever SIP client you use, below are the settings you would need to configure your WiFi Mobile with. Below settings are specific to each account. Please check your activation email for relevant setup of your own account

Example:
SIP ID / User Name: ani888030xxxx
Password: tgea7thi
Proxy server: 87.238.224.105
Port: 5060

Some Softphones ask for Authorization Username, please enter your Username / SIP ID and a Domain, which is 87.238.224.105

If you need further assistance, please send us an email at support@voiceall.com detailing the issue with the make and model of the IP Phone you are using.

What kind of internet connection do I need to use a IP Phone?

The minimum bandwidth recommended is 100+ kbps. Internet connections available in most of UK, Europe and USA are good enough to give you a decent voice quality

My WiFI Phone displays that it is registered but I am not able to make calls?

This could be in most cases a network issue. Please make sure there are no firewalls or any other applications blocking the WiFI Phone. IP Phone’s usually use UDP 5060 port. Please refer to the relevant WiFi Phone (or) SIP Client make documentation for UDP and RTP ports and make sure those ports are not blocked on your network.

Voice quality declines while simultaneously talking and working on my PC

Under normal browsing and working conditions voice quality should not be affected. While you are talking, if you are also downloading or uploading files like email attachments or photos or huge documents, this may affect the voice quality. Try having QOS (quality of service) implemented in your router to avoid such issues.
